US President Donald Trump has offered assistance in efforts to resolve the war during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, US President Donald Trump held a 90-minute telephone discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian Presidential Office, the Kremlin, stated that the US President offered help towards a solution to the Ukraine war during the call.
The statement said the matter was discussed in the context of the NATO summit held in Türkiye.
President Trump said that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were ready to travel to Moscow again.
The Kremlin spokesman further stated that Russia also seeks a political and diplomatic settlement to the conflict, while stressing that its core position must be taken into account.
