The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to disclose the central contracts awarded to cricketers under its newly introduced format-based structure.
Sources divulged on Tuesday that the category in which each player receives a central contract will remain confidential.
The PCB stated that the contracts awarded under each format track will not be made public.
Moreover, the PCB maintained that the number of players included in the central contracts and their distribution across categories are matters related to selection.
Sources said separate domestic cricket conditions have also been set for players holding central contracts.
Contracted players will be required to play first-class, List A and T20 cricket according to their designated track, sources added.

Players have been informed about the minimum number of domestic matches they will be required to play.
Sources said players may be required to participate in at least five first-class matches and up to 10 List A matches.
Players have also been instructed to remain available for domestic cricket during periods when there are no international series, according to sources.
It is pertinent to note that the PCB announced on Monday that it had switched to a format-based central contract system.
