Iranian Army Chief Amir Hatami has said that Iran has emerged “stronger than ever” on the global stage, adding that the country’s borders are now more secure and capable of countering any external threat.
In a strongly worded statement, Hatami warned that any future miscalculation by adversaries would be met with a “decisive and harsh” response.
Warning to adversaries
The Iranian military chief said that no country should consider any form of aggression against Iran, stressing that the armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any threat.
He reiterated that Iran’s defence posture is defensive in nature but firm, and that any hostile move would be met with immediate retaliation.
Defence build-up announced
Hatami also announced plans to further strengthen Iran’s military capabilities, stating that the country will continue to enhance its defence power in response to evolving regional and global security challenges.
He said Iran’s armed forces are more capable and resilient than ever before, reflecting ongoing military development and strategic preparedness
