Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which the two leaders welcomed the recent understanding reached between the United States and Iran and discussed regional and bilateral matters.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two leaders exchanged detailed views on the proposed peace agreement between the United States and Iran. They welcomed the recent understanding reached between Washington and Tehran.

The Memorandum of Understanding is scheduled to be signed on 19 June in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
Dar and Fidan also discussed Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding brotherly ties between the two countries.
The two foreign ministers exchanged views on preparations for the forthcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers’ meeting later this month and reviewed various matters of mutual cooperation.
