The postmortem report of nine-year-old Haniya Adeel, who was allegedly shot by a CCD official in Chakwal, has been released, revealing that the child died after suffering multiple deep gunshot wounds.
According to the medico-legal report obtained by Samaa TV, Haniya’s body had a total of 11 bullet and injury marks, while several vital organs were badly damaged in the firing.
The postmortem report stated that innocent Haniya Adeel died due to multiple gunshot wounds. Doctors concluded that the cause of death was severe bleeding, medically described as hypovolemic shock, caused by deep bullet injuries.
The report further said that due to severe shock and bleeding, the child’s heart and lungs stopped working, resulting in cardiopulmonary arrest.
According to the report, a total of 11 marks of bullets and injuries were found on Haniya Adeel’s body. A metallic fragment of a bullet was recovered from the girl’s body and handed over to the police.

The report stated that all wounds were antemortem, meaning the bullets were fired before death.
Bullet caused severe fractures, organ damage
The postmortem report revealed that Haniya’s right femur, or thigh bone, was badly fractured as a result of the firing. Her right lung was severely affected by a bullet, while blood had accumulated in her chest.
The report also stated that the girl’s liver, large intestine and small intestine were severely injured due to the gunfire.
According to the medico-legal findings, deep entry and exit wounds caused by bullets were found on Haniya’s right breast, abdomen, thigh and left elbow.

Doctors said the wounds were so severe and deep that, under normal circumstances, they could have caused immediate death. The report concluded that the time between the bullet injuries and death was immediate.
Evidence handed over to police
According to the medico-legal report, around six to eight hours had passed between Haniya Adeel’s death and the postmortem examination.
The hospital administration sealed the girl’s blood-stained clothes, X-rays and other evidence before handing them over to the police.
The recovery of the bullet fragment and preserved evidence is expected to form a key part of the investigation into the alleged firing by the CCD official.
