A high-level meeting of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) was held under the chairmanship of party president Abdul Aleem Khan to discuss the escalating Iran-Israel conflict and its implications on regional stability.
Expressing deep concern over the ongoing hostilities, Abdul Aleem Khan stated that the regional imbalance has significantly increased the responsibilities of Pakistan’s armed forces. He noted that the party is deeply pained by the human and material losses suffered in Iran and reiterated IPP’s commitment to regional peace and solidarity with all affected communities.
During his address, Abdul Aleem Khan praised Field Marshal Asim Munir, stating that he has emerged as a beacon of hope not only for Pakistan but for the entire Muslim world. “Victory in the Ma’rakah Bunyān-um-Marsoos belongs to Field Marshal Asim Munir,” he said, expressing optimism about the success of the COAS’s ongoing visit to the United States.
The meeting was attended by senior party leaders including Rana Nazir Ahmed, Syed Samsam Bukhari, Shoaib Siddiqui, Syed Rafiqat Gillani, Brigadier (R) Qaiser, and Sardar Asif Nakai. The participants unanimously expressed full confidence in Abdul Aleem Khan’s leadership and congratulated him on organizing a successful convention to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army.
The session also included a comprehensive discussion on the country’s political situation and deliberations on the federal and provincial budgets.
