The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed the third consecutive decline on Saturday.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs43, bringing the new rate to Rs437,993, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs39, settling at Rs374,166. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs35 to be sold for Rs343,290.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by just $0.43, reaching $4,155.57 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
However, the silver prices followed the opposite trend. The price of 24-karat silver jumped by a minor Rs16 to be sold for Rs6,962. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also hiked by Rs14 to Rs5,909.
