Bollywood stars Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar are set to reunite on the big screen after 22 years in the upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle, delighting fans of one of Hindi cinema’s most popular on-screen pairs.
The actors were last seen together in the 2004 film Police Force: An Inside Story and are now returning for another major project alongside a star-studded cast.
According to Indian media reports, Raveena will reunite with Akshay in Welcome to the Jungle after a gap of 22 years.
Speaking in an interview, the actress said it was a wonderful experience working once again with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and director Ahmed Khan.
‘We are all old friends’
Raveena said the reunion felt special because of the long-standing friendships among the cast members.
“We are all old friends and have known each other for a long time,” she said.
The actress also spoke about veteran actress Farida Jalal, who is part of the film, saying she had played her mother in several films, including Ziddi.
Praises Akshay Kumar’s dedication
Talking about Akshay Kumar’s career, Raveena said she has always admired his dedication and commitment to his craft.
“I can say about Akshay that he was, is and will always be an excellent and wonderful actor,” she said.
She added that Akshay puts his heart into his work and believes his commitment has only grown stronger over time.
Raveena recalled that both she and Akshay entered the film industry as newcomers and learned the profession together. “Back then we were new and learning the work, but now Akshay has mastered his craft,” she said.

Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon have shared the screen in several memorable Bollywood films over the years. Some of their most popular collaborations include Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Barood, Police Force: An Inside Story and several other films.
