The Pakistan cricket administration has decided to send some of its cricketers to the United States of America for power-hitting training as part of efforts to meet modern limited-over cricket requirements.
Players introduced to modern power-hitting methods
Pakistan white-ball team head coach Mike Hesson said that the United States had special expertise in power-hitting training. He said the purpose was to familiarise players with modern power-hitting methods and improve their skills according to the demands of international cricket.
'Medical panel changes training, fast-bowler injuries no higher'
The Pakistan white-ball team head coach said the medical panel was changing the training process. He said injuries among Pakistani fast bowlers were not higher than those of other countries.
‘Ali Raza needs more fitness work for international cricket’
Mike Hesson said the team wanted to make Ali Raza fit according to international cricket standards. He added that Ali Raza would need to work further on his physical fitness.
