Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party President Abdul Aleem Khan held an important meeting at the Parliament House, where they discussed government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan and future political cooperation.
The two leaders agreed to continue working together in Gilgit-Baltistan and serve the people of the region through joint efforts.
The meeting between Bilawal and Aleem Khan took place at the Parliament House and focused on various political matters, including the formation of government in Gilgit-Baltistan. Both leaders exchanged pleasantries during the meeting and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the region.
The discussion reflected a shared understanding between the PPP and IPP on continuing coordination in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Agreement to work together in GB
During the meeting, both sides agreed to continue working together in Gilgit-Baltistan in the future. The leaders also agreed to serve the people of GB jointly and support political stability in the region.
Bilawal expressed gratitude to the IPP leadership for its cooperation in the process of government formation.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Bilawal thanked the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for giving the PPP a mandate. He also thanked Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N for accepting the PPP’s mandate in the region.
Bilawal further expressed appreciation for the IPP, thanking its leadership and members for supporting the PPP in forming the government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Senior leaders attend meeting
Senior PPP leader and MNA Raja Pervez Ashraf was also present during the meeting. From the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, Aun Chaudhry, Gul Asghar Baghor and Munaza Hassan participated in the discussions.
The meeting underscored ongoing political coordination between the two parties as efforts continue to finalize arrangements for governance in Gilgit-Baltistan.
