A high-level Iranian delegation has departed for Switzerland to follow up on the implementation of commitments made by the other side under a memorandum of understanding.
According to Iranian media, the delegation has been named “Minab 168”, a title linked to schoolgirls. The delegation includes Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Ali Bagheri, Deputy for International Affairs at the Supreme National Security Council Secretariat, Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati, Deputy Oil Minister and head of the National Iranian Oil Company Hamid Bourd, and Foreign Ministry deputies Kazem Gharibabadi and Esmaeil Baqaei, among others.
Esmaeil Baqaei said that the visit is aimed at advancing the implementation of agreed commitments under the memorandum.

He stated that any agreement is tested at the stage of implementation, adding that in view of past experience of alleged non-compliance by the other party, it is necessary to firmly insist on the fulfilment of obligations.
