The Balochistan government has approved a 100% salary increase for employees of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF), in a move aimed at strengthening the province’s anti-terrorism capabilities.
The Balochistan Finance Secretary has issued an official notification confirming the salary hike for current serving employees of all ranks in both forces.
According to the notification, the 100% salary increase will be effective from July 1, 2026. The benefit will apply only to current serving personnel posted in the CTD and ATF, across all ranks.
Allowances, retirement benefits unchanged
The notification clarified that other allowances, pension and gratuity will continue to be calculated according to the current basic salary.
This means the salary increase will not alter the existing structure for allowances or post-retirement benefits.
The Balochistan Accountant General has been directed to include the approved salary hike in the salaries for July 2026. All departments concerned have also been ordered to ensure immediate implementation of the notification.
The government described the decision as part of efforts to further strengthen the anti-terrorism capabilities of the police force.
Officials said the move is expected to support personnel serving in sensitive counterterrorism roles and improve operational capacity in the province.
