The Pakistan Army foiled an attempt by Fitna-ul-Khawarij to infiltrate across the Chaman sector of the Pak-Afghan border.
According to security sources, one terrorist was killed, while others fled in injured condition. The intrusion attempt involved three to four militants near the border area adjacent to the Chaman sector. The army effectively targeted the militants attempting to cut the border fence. During the exchange, one foreign terrorist was killed and the remaining attackers retreated while wounded.
The group abandoned four to five ready-made improvised explosive devices and tools used for cutting the fence. Security forces have taken these items into their custody.
