A telephone conversation took place between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, during which both leaders held a detailed exchange on the worsening situation in Iran and across the region.

According to Iranian media, Araghchi telephoned his Iraqi counterpart and informed him of the continuing attacks on American bases located in Iraq.
Araghchi made it clear to the Iraqi foreign minister that Iran’s strikes were directed solely at American military bases and were not aimed at any country. He stressed that Iran’s target remained the United States’ military presence, not Iraq or any other state.
Pakistan expresses concern over Middle East tensions, urges diplomatic solution
Pakistan has expressed regret over the failure of negotiations and the onset of tensions in the Middle East.
The Foreign Office spokesperson condemned Israeli and American aggression against Iran and Iranian attacks on Gulf states.
All parties were urged to pursue diplomacy and seek a negotiated settlement.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held telephone talks with the foreign ministers of Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.
He expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in the region.
The leaders agreed to maintain close contact among friendly countries.
In a conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Deputy Prime Minister Dar strongly condemned unjustified attacks against Iran and called for the immediate de-escalation of tensions through the restoration of diplomacy.
He also spoke by phone with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact regarding the worsening regional situation.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar also held discussions with the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, emphasising the importance of peace and stability.
The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that the attacks on Iran occurred at a time when diplomatic efforts were ongoing to reach a negotiated solution.
Such actions threaten the peace and stability of the entire region.
Iran’s attacks on brotherly countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates were also condemned.
The spokesperson clarified that these unprovoked attacks constitute a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Gulf states.
Pakistan urged all parties to return to diplomacy and seek a peaceful, negotiated resolution of the crisis.
