Australia and England will lock horns against each in the fifth and final Ashes Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground, starting from January 4 (Sunday).
The home side have already secured the series with a 3–1 lead. Australia dominated the early stages, winning the first three Tests in succession, before England claimed a consolation victory.
That win ended England’s long wait for success in Australia, marking their first Test victory on Australian soil in nearly 15 years.
The Sydney Test also carries added significance for Usman Khawaja. The opener is set to play his final Test at the same venue where he made his Test and first-class debut.
Khawaja has represented Australia in 87 Tests and has scored 16 centuries.
