Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan discussed on Tuesday the current regional situation and positive progress in bilateral relations.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, Dar held a telephone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. They exchanged New Year greetings and reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen Pakistan–Saudi Arabia ties.
Earlier, Ishaq Dar also spoke by telephone with Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov. Both leaders agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations. The Uzbek foreign minister conveyed New Year greetings to Ishaq Dar and formally confirmed the visit of the Uzbek president to Pakistan in February 2026.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding Pakistan–Uzbekistan relations and agreed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
