Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and extended heartfelt congratulations to him, the royal family, the government, and the people of Qatar on the country’s National Day.
The prime minister conveyed his best wishes for peace, progress, and prosperity for Qatar.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Emir’s visionary leadership and Qatar’s influential role on the global stage, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the long-standing and multifaceted partnership between Pakistan and Qatar. He also appreciated Qatar’s valuable diplomatic efforts aimed at establishing peace in Gaza.
The prime minister additionally commended Qatar’s role in facilitating dialogue to reduce tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. On this occasion, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani thanked the prime minister for the National Day greetings and expressed his strong resolve to further enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.
