ChatGPT has introduced a dedicated Apple Music integration, allowing users to explore music and create playlists with the help of AI. The feature is available across iOS, macOS, and the web, making music discovery more seamless within ChatGPT.
Apple Music can be added to ChatGPT through the Settings section on the Mac app, website, or iOS app.
Users will find Apple Music listed under the “Apps” option, where they can connect it by signing in with their Apple Account for authorization.
Once connected, Apple Music appears as an option when users tap the “+” button in ChatGPT.
Any playlists or music suggestions generated by ChatGPT can be opened directly in the Apple Music app.

What users can do with the integration
According to OpenAI, ChatGPT can search the Apple Music catalog for songs, artists, albums, and playlists.
This works even for users who do not have an Apple Music subscription.
All users can discover new music, generate playlists, and listen to preview clips within ChatGPT.
However, full playback and library features remain tied to Apple Music subscriptions.
Apple Music subscribers gain additional functionality.
They can add songs, albums, and playlists suggested by ChatGPT directly to their Apple Music Library.
