Former Indian cricketer Azharuddin has termed the high-handed act of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as an affront to women and a foolish measure.
Azharuddin said that strict action should be taken against Nitish Kumar for his conduct. Iltija Mufti, leader of the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir, also condemned Nitish Kumar’s act as shameful.
Opposition parties are criticising Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the alleged forcible removal of a Muslim woman doctor’s hijab during a government event. The Indian National Congress has demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister in connection with the incident.
