Pakistan strongly condemned India’s continued state-sponsored terrorism, asserting that propaganda cannot distort facts.
The country reaffirmed its commitment to protecting national security amid heightened regional tensions.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi emphasized during the weekly media briefing that Pakistan rejects recent controversial remarks by India’s Defense Minister. He reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully committed to safeguarding the nation.
Diplomatic engagements with Indonesia
Andrabi highlighted that the Indonesian President recently visited Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Delegation-level talks included discussions on the situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The spokesperson also mentioned that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister contacted Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan this week.
Discussions focused on the Gaza crisis and the Israeli announcement regarding the Rafah crossing. Eight Islamic Arab countries, including Pakistan, issued statements responding to the developments.
