Three key agreements were signed between Pakistan and the Asian Development Bank as the bank will provide a total of $61.8 million for road and water projects.
According to details surfaced on Friday, the Economic Affairs Division spokesperson said the agreements include readiness financing for the ML-1 Karachi to Rohri section. Additional financing was also signed for the Quetta Bus Rapid Transit project and the Balochistan Water Resources Development Sector project.
The spokesperson said that the ADB will provide a total of $61.8 million for all three projects. The ML-1 Karachi-Rohri project will receive $10 million. The Quetta BRT project will receive $3.8 million, while the Balochistan Water project will be allocated $48 million.
