Two Australian women cricketers were molested in Indore, foreign media reported.
According to details, a man on a motorcycle allegedly harassed the players as they were walking from their hotel to a café. The incident took place on Thursday morning, a day after Australia’s win against England in the Women’s World Cup match in Indore.
The Australian team’s security manager lodged a complaint at the local police station soon after the incident. Police later confirmed the arrest of the man involved.
Cricket Australia said two members of the Australian women’s team were approached and touched inappropriately by a motorcyclist while on their way to a café. The matter was reported to the police, who are conducting the investigation.
