Direct flights between Pakistan and Iran have officially started, Iranian Ambassador Dr Reza Amiri Moqadam announced on Tuesday.
Dr Reza Amiri Moqadam confirmed that a comprehensive air travel agreement has been finalized, facilitated largely by the recent visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan.

The ambassador expressed gratitude to the Pakistani government for its cooperation and support in implementing the agreement.
Flights operated by Iran Air Tour
The direct flights will be operated by Iran Air Tour, one of Iran’s leading airlines. Officials highlighted that this initiative is expected to enhance tourism and foster stronger people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Iran.
The ambassador emphasised that these direct flights will provide Iranian citizens the opportunity to experience Pakistan’s scenic beauty and hospitality.
At the same time, easier travel will further strengthen business relations and cultural exchange, benefiting tourism professionals and business communities in both countries.
