Pakistan and the United States have expressed resolve to expand cooperation in the various fields.
According to details surfaced on Friday, US Charge d'Affaires Natalie A Baker called on Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi in Islamabad. On this occasion, both Naqvi and Baker have agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of border security, anti-narcotics, coast guards and forensics.
Naqvi also held discussions with Baker regarding people wanted in the US. He welcomed the recent remarks made by US President Donald Trump of extending cooperation for increasing the oil reserves in Pakistan.
The interior minister has underscored the potential of investing in Pakistan, saying, "The US investors can take advantage by investing in Pakistan in oil and other sectors."
Meanwhile, Baker said that the US gives special importance to the ties with Pakistan.
