The Pakistan Navy conducted a two-day port security and harbour defence exercise at Karachi and Port Qasim, involving the Coastal Command, the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), the Karachi Port Trust and other relevant institutions.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the exercise aimed to ensure early identification and effective mitigation of potential threats to maritime installations. It also tested the preparedness and coordination capabilities of all participating bodies.

Special emphasis was placed on integrating communication systems and command-and-control mechanisms. The exercise demonstrated a firm commitment to protecting maritime assets and maintaining the uninterrupted flow of commercial activities.
