Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said on Thursday that no new operation is being conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV, Chaudhry said: "Both the centre and provinces are implementing on the National Action Plan (NAP). KP is affected most by the terrorism. To ensure the strengthening of the institutions in KP, the provinces remained lag behind."
Chaudhry questioned, "How to overcome the challenges posed by terrorism if there is no facilities of CTD, forensic lab or Safe City in the province?"
He said: "The centre is using resources to cope up both the internal and external challenges."
Chaudhry said, "The implementation on the NAP will be continued. We will keep on reminding the provinces that it is their responsibility to maintain the law and order situation."
He added, "The KP forces are rendering their sacrifices, but the political leadership in the province is compromised and petrified of terrorists."
Chaudhry warned the political opponents against scoring political points.
