Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui said on Sunday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has no connection with constitutional obligations or democratic principles.
Taking to X, Siddiqui wrote, "What sort of reconciliation with opposition parties is this, where their members are prevented from taking oath? This is the same unconstitutional and undemocratic conduct that the PTI founder adopted through Qasim Suri and Arif Alvi to avoid a vote of no confidence."

Siddiqui added that while the no-confidence motion could not be stopped in the past, nor would the oath-taking of opposition members be hindered now, it had become increasingly evident that PTI is not a party for democratic institutions. "It exists solely for streets, crossroads, unrest and violent protest," he stated.
