Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khurram Dastgir said on Tuesday that Pakistan would not enter into discussions regarding the Abraham Accords until the Palestine issue is resolved.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s programme Nadeem Malik Live, Dastgir said: “Israel will not be accepted until a sovereign Palestinian state is established.”
Commenting on United States President Donald Trump, Dastgir added: “If President Trump is serious about achieving lasting peace in the Middle East, he must consider the two-state solution.”
Regarding the situation with India, Dastgir remarked: “Although Pakistan and India have reached a ceasefire, the threat of renewed conflict still looms.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik said on Thursday that Pakistan was having no pressure from Trump administration or anyone else to join Abraham Accords.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s "Nadeem Malik Live", he emphasised that Pakistan will act solely in line with its national interests and has maintained a principled, moral stance. Barrister Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice, reaffirmed Pakistan’s independent position.
He stressed: “What is best for Pakistan will be in our national interest. We have remained committed to our principled and moral position.” He highlighted that Pakistan has taken similar principled positions concerning Iran and Israel.
"Pakistan opposed aggression against Iran and maintained a firm stance when such aggression occurred," said Malik.
“Pakistan is a sovereign country; no nation can compel us to accept or reject anything,” he affirmed.

Adviser to the prime minister, Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday that Pakistan should back Saudi Arabia, Turkiye over the Abraham Accords.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s programme “Nadeem Malik Live”, he emphasised that Pakistan should align with the Arab nations on the matter. Sanaullah said that Pakistan ought to stand with the Muslim world, particularly on issues concerning the broader Middle East.
He reiterated that Iran’s strategic interest lies in moving forward together with Arab countries, Türkiye, and Pakistan. However, he said that Iran’s position today is different from what it was a month ago.
