A Lahore-bound private airline flight to Skardu was forced to return shortly after takeoff on Sunday after a bird strike.
According to the airline spokesperson, flight PA-481 encountered the bird strike moments after taking off from Lahore Airport. The aircraft safely landed back at the airport, and all passengers remained unharmed.
The spokesperson confirmed that due to the bird strike, the Lahore to Skardu flight was subsequently cancelled for safety reasons.
Authorities are inspecting the aircraft, and arrangements are being made to accommodate affected passengers on alternative flights.
