Senate opposition leader Shibli Faraz on Wednesday rejected the “minus-Imran Khan” narrative, asserting that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) remains united under Imran Khan’s leadership.
Speaking on Samaa TV, Faraz stated: “There is no leader within the PTI who derives political strength from anyone other than Imran Khan. Some people want to see a division within the PTI and hope for a ‘minus-Imran Khan scenario, but that is not going to happen.”
He added: “Whether they are members of the National Assembly or Senators, their political relevance depends entirely on Imran Khan. When you stand behind a leader, the party does not divide."
Faraz maintained: "Such speculation had been circulating for the past three years, but the party had remained resilient."
