The Airports Security Force (ASF) foiled a drug smuggling attempt at Islamabad International Airport, recovering crystal meth valued at over Rs12.5 million from a passenger bound for Bahrain.
According to details, the suspect, identified as Shoaib Ali, had cleverly concealed 888 grams of narcotics inside his trolley bag.
During routine baggage screening, ASF personnel discovered the hidden drugs and immediately thwarted the smuggling bid.
The accused, along with the recovered contraband, was handed over to Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) authorities for further investigation and legal action.
