Former Sindh governor Zubair Umar was expected to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Sources divulged that the former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart has finalised matters with the PTI’s senior leadership and has been in contact with key party figures.
Umar has expressed his willingness to become part of the PTI, and his inclusion has been approved by PTI patron-in-chief Imran Khan.
Moreover, Umar is expected to formally join PTI either before or shortly after Eid-ul-Azha.
