The federal government has reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs5 per kilogram.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the price of a domestic LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs55.
The new LPG price has been fixed at Rs241 per kilogram, while the revised price of a domestic cylinder is now Rs2,838.
In May, the price of a domestic cylinder was set at Rs2,893.
Meanwhile, the price of a commercial cylinder has been reduced by Rs241, bringing it down to Rs10,920.
The new LPG prices will take effect from June 1.
