The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released the revised schedule for matric and intermediate examinations that were postponed earlier due to heightened tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to the new notification, the practical exam for Matric students originally scheduled for May 7, which included Biology, Computer Science, and Food & Nutrition, will now be held on May 17.
Similarly, practical exams for Matric students scheduled for May 9, covering Biology, Computer Science, and Arts, will now take place on May 24.
The intermediate-level exam for Tarjuma-tul-Quran will now take place on May 31, instead of the originally scheduled date of May 9.
Meanwhile, the May 7 exam for Islamiyat and Accounting, which could not be held as scheduled, has been rescheduled for June 16.
In a statement issued by the Lahore Board’s Controller of Examinations, it was clarified that no new roll number slips will be issued to students for the revised exam dates. Students are advised to retain and use their existing roll number slips.
The board further confirmed that the previously assigned examination centres will conduct all postponed exams according to their original schedules. Students are urged to strictly follow the updated schedule and attend their exams accordingly.
