The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday issued notices to the Secretary Interior and the Jail Superintendent in response to a petition filed by Bushra Bibi, seeking improved facilities during her incarceration.
Justice Inam Amin Minhas presided over the hearing and directed the respondents to submit their replies within two weeks.
Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has approached the court requesting better living conditions and access to facilities in jail. The court will take up the matter again after receiving the reports from the concerned authorities.
