Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar on Tuesday shared his severe reservations regarding the state of the country's judicial system.
During an interactive session with students in Lahore, Mr Kakar emphasised the government's commitment to holding peaceful elections.
He highlighted the utilisation of all available resources for a smooth electoral process. However, he also noted the limitations faced in terms of legislation, expressing the caretaker government's constrained authority in bringing about legislative changes.
Concerns Islamabad protests
Addressing the protests in Islamabad regarding the Baloch missing persons issue, Prime Minister Kakar asserted that his conflict lies not with the state but with armed organizations.
He denounced attempts to turn the issue into a X (formerly Twitter) war and urged for a more constructive dialogue. The premier also expressed concern over the delay in delivering justice, citing the need for an improved criminal justice system.
The premier also cautioned against the reliance on bold statements, emphasizing that talking alone does not solve problems.
He acknowledged the complexity of issues surrounding terrorism and criminal activities, urging for a collaborative effort to address these challenges effectively.

PM Kakar today exchanged views on the country's political situation.
PM Kakar called on the former prime minister in Lahore. During the meeting, which lasted for almost 30 minutes, both leaders discussed matters in line with the forthcoming elections.
