At least two people were injured after earthquake tremors hit parts of Balochistan on Saturday morning, damaging several houses in Musakhel district and sending rescue teams to the affected areas.
According to the PDMA, tremors were felt at around 8am in Radashm, Kingri and Kajhori areas of Musakhel, while shocks were also reported in Kohlu and Barkhan.
The PDMA said several mud houses collapsed in Musakhel district due to the earthquake. Kingri was among the worst-affected areas, where initial reports said several houses were damaged and at least 11 houses were affected.
Two people were injured in the earthquake and shifted to hospital for medical treatment.
Relief teams reach affected areas
Police, PDMA and district administration teams are carrying out relief and rescue operations in the affected areas.
Officials said rescue workers are present in the area, while authorities are surveying affected locations to assess the scale of damage and any possible casualties.
Police said damage and loss of life are still being assessed.

According to the PDMA, the earthquake in Musakhel had a magnitude of 5.2, with a depth of 15 kilometres. The epicentre was reported 58 kilometres northeast.
The Meteorological Department also recorded a 5.2-magnitude earthquake in Barkhan district, with a depth of 19 kilometres and the epicentre located 58 kilometres northeast of Barkhan. The PDMA said no casualties were reported in Barkhan.
Tremors also felt in Kohlu and surrounding areas
Tremors were also felt in Musakhel and nearby areas, as well as in Kohlu and Barkhan. According to the Meteorological Department, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Kohlu district at a depth of 15 kilometres.
The epicentre was reported about 40 kilometres north of Kohlu, while another report placed it around 4 kilometres north of Kohlu.
Authorities are continuing assessments in the quake-hit areas.
