US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that if Iran seeks a good agreement with the United States, Washington stands ready for such an arrangement, though the United States holds various options should Iran fail to comply with the memorandum of understanding.
Speaking in Kuwait City during a media briefing, he noted that oil prices are continuing to fall and that the United States maintains strong relations with Gulf countries.

He stated that no country will be permitted to impose toll charges in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that its open and free status is essential for global trade and energy supply.
Rubio also said that President Donald Trump wants Iran to fully adhere to the memorandum of understanding and ensure implementation of the agreed terms.
