England defeated Pakistan 2-1 in their FIH Pro League 2026 fixture at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London on Wednesday, inflicting a 14th consecutive defeat on the Green Shirts in the ongoing competition.
The opening quarter remained goalless as both sides struggled to convert chances, despite England applying steady pressure. A total of six penalty corners were awarded in the period, with England receiving four and Pakistan two, yet neither side managed to score.
The Green Shirts took the lead in the second quarter when Rana Waheed Ashraf struck in the 27th minute to put the visitors ahead 1-0.
England, however, responded after the interval, scoring in the third and fourth quarters to turn the match around and secure victory.
Pakistan have now played multiple matches in the tournament without registering a point, with only two fixtures remaining out of sixteen.
