It marks Pakistan hockey team’s 13th consecutive defeat, after which the national side has failed to qualify for the next edition of the Pro League.

Figures show that Pakistan last recorded a win against India in 2016. Over the past ten years, the two sides have met on 18 occasions, with India winning 16 matches and two ending in draws.
Due to finishing at the bottom of the standings, Pakistan will now feature in the Nations Cup.
