The free public transport service across Punjab will come to an end from tomorrow, authorities said.
According to the Mass Transit Authority, fares will once again be applied on public transport services across the province. The decision covers Orange Line Train, Metro Bus, and Speedo bus services in Lahore and other cities.
The free travel facility had earlier been introduced in view of rising petroleum product prices.
From tomorrow, normal fare collection will resume on all affected routes under the transport system.
