Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has said that the interruption of monitoring activities by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at some Iranian nuclear facilities was not the result of Iran's lack of cooperation, but of US and Israeli attacks on those sites.
Gharibabadi said the international agency was using the consequences of the Israeli and US attacks to create uncertainty regarding Iran's nuclear programme.
He said the agency should play a role in pursuing a diplomatic solution instead of contributing to ambiguity surrounding Iran's nuclear activities.
