Saudi Arabia has condemned the Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain and expressed full solidarity with both countries.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the attacks could undermine efforts to maintain peace in the region. It said the incidents could also pose a threat to regional and international security.
The ministry said Saudi Arabia supports all measures aimed at safeguarding regional security and called on all parties to avoid any action that could increase tensions.
Egypt condemns Iranian attacks
Egypt condemned the Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain and expressed full solidarity with both Gulf states.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said the attacks pose a danger to the security of the Gulf region.
Qatar condemns Iranian attacks
Qatar condemned the Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said the attacks constitute a violation of the sovereignty of Kuwait and Bahrain and stressed the need to reduce rising tensions across the region.
Bahrain says ballistic missiles intercepted
The Bahrain's Foreign Ministry said Iran launched seven ballistic missiles, all of which were intercepted and destroyed before reaching their targets.
The ministry condemned the Iranian attacks against Bahrain and Kuwait, saying peace cannot be secured through missile and drone strikes.
It called on Iran to halt what it described as unjustified attacks and pursue the path of peace.
The ministry also urged Iran to identify underwater mines and cooperate in their removal, and to ensure safe passage for vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
