India won the Under-18 Hockey Asia Cup after defeating Japan 4-1 in the final on Saturday.
India claimed the gold medal, while Japan secured silver and Pakistan finished with the bronze medal.
Earlier, Pakistan were beaten 5-3 by India in the semi-final of the Men's U18 Asia Cup 2026 on Friday.
The national side held a 3-2 lead at the end of the third quarter and appeared on course for a place in the final. However, India scored three goals in the fourth quarter to overturn the deficit and seal victory.
Separately, Pakistan secured the bronze medal at the Under-18 Hockey Asia Cup in Japan after defeating Malaysia 3-0 in the third-place play-off on Saturday.
Pakistan registered a comfortable 3-0 victory to finish third in the tournament. Azhar Ahmed opened the scoring, while Assam Haider added a second goal from a penalty stroke. Adeel scored the third goal to complete the win.
