The prices of gold and silver in Pakistan and the global market witnessed a massive drop on Saturday.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by a huge Rs12,489, bringing the new rate to Rs455,327, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs11,240, settling at Rs389,772. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs10,181 to be sold for Rs357,443.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by a big $124.9, reaching $4,328.92 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend. The price of 24-karat silver declined by Rs463 to be sold for Rs7,267. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs421 to Rs6,202.
