Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
President Erdogan said a “killer of children” had insulted him and his country on social media, adding that Turkiye is not an ordinary state. He said no power could point a finger at Turkiye or its president.
He said Israeli attacks on Lebanon were harming hopes for peace in the region. He added that full advantage should be taken of the opportunity provided by a ceasefire, noting that Turkiye is striving to continue negotiations and extend the truce.
