The controversy began after the actor attended an award event on April 5, where Saurabh Dwivedi made a humorous remark about Yadav’s cheque bounce case during a live interaction.
While the audience at the venue laughed, the clip quickly went viral on social media, drawing criticism toward the host.
Rajpal Yadav clarifies situation
Breaking his silence, Yadav took to social media and revealed that the segment was pre-planned.
He said the moment was scripted by him, Zakir Khan, and Saurabh Dwivedi, putting an end to speculation around the incident.
In his video statement, Yadav referred to both hosts as his “younger brothers.”

He emphasized that they have always shown him respect and even shared that Dwivedi had asked the audience to stand and applaud him during the event.
Appeal to fans to stop trolling
The actor also made a heartfelt appeal to social media users to avoid targeting the hosts.
He stated, “Saurabh ka dil dukhana matlab mera dil dukhana hai,” urging people not to spread negativity.
Yadav concluded his message by expressing gratitude and affection, saying he loves Saurabh, Zakir, and his fans.
Both Saurabh Dwivedi and Zakir Khan responded warmly to Yadav’s video in the comments section.
Dwivedi wrote in Hindi that he has “great respect and affection” for the actor, while Zakir expressed his love and admiration for him.
The incident also drew attention from the film industry.
Salman Khan publicly supported Yadav, praising his long-standing contributions to Bollywood.
