Four brothers were killed and a five-year-old child badly wounded after a cross-border attack in Bajaur attributed to the Afghan Taliban regime.
Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said the Afghan Taliban regime targeted a civilian population during firing from across the border. The attack struck the areas of Tabesta Letai, Salarzai area of Bajaur District, where a house suffered damage.
The four brothers who lost their lives were identified as Sajid, Ayaz, Riaz and Muaz.
The minister said the targeting of civilians by the Afghan Taliban regime amounts to a grave violation of basic human values and reflects deep concern.
Tarar said the Afghan Taliban regime faces serious setbacks following successful operations by Pakistan’s armed forces, adding that those responsible for the heinous act face a firm response.
