Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney has paid an emotional tribute to her late Euphoria co-star Eric Dane.
A day after his death was confirmed by family, Sweeney shared a heartfelt reaction to his final recorded message to his daughters.
Eric Dane’s passing was confirmed on February 19 following his battle with ALS, a rare chronic illness. He was 53.
Shortly after, a video released by Netflix resurfaced online, showing the actor recording a final message to his daughters, Billie and Georgia.
In the emotional clip, Dane said:
“Billie and Georgia, these words are for you. I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried.”
He continued, recalling cherished memories:
“Overall, we had a blast, didn’t we? I remember all the times we spent at the beach. The two of you, me, and Mom in Malibu, Santa Monica, Hawaii, and Mexico. I see you now playing in the oceans for hours.”
His voice trembled as he reflected on family moments by the sea.

On Friday, February 21, Sweeney reshared the video on her Instagram Stories.
The actress, known for her role in Euphoria, expressed her grief with a simple but powerful message written over the clip:
“Forever will love you,” followed by a broken heart emoji.

Sweeney, who has been a central part of the HBO hit series since 2019, appeared deeply moved by her co-star’s final words.

Eric Dane was widely recognised for portraying Cal Jacobs — the complex father of Jacob Elordi’s character — in Euphoria.
The show’s third season is set to release on April 12, 2026.
