Diplomatic engagement between the United Arab Emirates and the United States has gathered pace in Washington, where regional stability, the situation in the Middle East and humanitarian measures were discussed at a Board of Peace meeting.
On the occasion, the UAE announced an additional $1.2 billion in assistance in view of the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The funding is intended to provide immediate relief to the affected population and support long-term recovery efforts.
Officials said the package would include medical facilities, food supplies, restoration of infrastructure and other essential humanitarian needs.
